Alistair Reid
Alistair Reid enjoys a distinguished career as an international organ recitalist and choral conductor. He is currently Director of Music of St. Joseph’s Church Yorkville where he directs the church’s semi-professional choir. Alistair began his musical career as a chorister in London and went on to study music at the University of Oxford. He then crossed the Atlantic to serve at Christ Church, Greenwich, Connecticut and Christ Church Cathedral, Indianapolis. From 2003 to 2011, Alistair served as Assistant Director of Music of Coventry Cathedral. During this time, he was involved with a number of national services for heads of state, television and radio broadcasts, international tours, and concerts. Alistair maintains an active international recital schedule and has performed in venues which include Notre-Dame de Paris, Westminster Abbey, St. Paul’s Cathedral, and the National Cathedral in Washington.
