Canterbury Choral Society’s next season will begin on November 24, 2019, with a performance of Johann Sebastian Bach’s magnificent Christmas Oratorio. The second concert will be a Vaughan Williams Festival, on March 8, 2020. The third and final Spring Concert will be on Sunday, May 17. All concerts are held at Church of the Heavenly Rest, Fifth Avenue at 90th Street, New York, NY 10128 at 4:00 pm.

Canterbury Choral Society has been rehearsing and performing at Church of the Heavenly Rest since its founding in 1952. It became an independent not-for-profit arts association in 1988, and is a 501(c)(3) choral group dedicated to performing great choral music with full orchestra accompaniment.
Its 2018-19 season concluded with an innovative Gospel Festival, which played to a packed house, and included selections from Duke Ellington, Nicholas White and Rollo Dilworth (pictured at left). Mr. White was in the audience.
